La Perdida Vineyard

Not every vineyard is sought out. Some appear when you least expect them. Lost among hills of holm oaks, stretching between Manchones and Murero, this vineyard seemed forgotten by everyone… except by life itself. When we arrived, the silence spoke. And we understood it. It had to be restored, cared for, so that it could smile again and reveal its beauty once more. What a beautiful time of recovery we lived through!

THE CORTÉS BROTHERS

We wanted to make a white wine, and the recommendation from the Cortés brothers was undoubtedly the right one. They know every vineyard, even the lost ones…

BEAUTIFUL, IRRESISTIBLE & DISTANT

Four steep terraces, set at 900 metres above sea level and planted with Macabeo, White Garnacha and Provechón, were waiting to be cared for once again with respect. Walking among its terraces is like stepping into a landscape that teaches more than it reveals.

A steep path leads us there, and from afar it stands out in shades of orange and ochre. It is a place chosen by wild boars for their moments of rest and bathing. An ideal spot from which to admire the landscape.

It was an invitation to look more slowly, to see further, and to cultivate calm. And we knew we could not say no — it was exactly what we needed.

WHERE NEW DREAMS ARE BORN

La Perdida will give us more than just grapes. It brings us questions, challenges, and opportunities to learn…

It reminds us that our journey is far from over, that there are still vineyards to restore, paths to explore, and wines to dream of — valuable and essential lessons for the whole family.

Here, we will craft our first single-vineyard white wine, primarily from Macabeo grapes, with a touch of White Garnacha. And perhaps, if the vineyard allows it, we may also create a clarete or a red wine… In this place, more than anywhere else, the land calls the shots.
